Agnes Moorehead delivers a frighteningly realistic portrayal of a level-headed spinster who makes a mistake one evening. She walks home alone at night while a serial killer prowls her small Midwestern town. This radio play is based on a story by Ray Bradbury and the episode is—for the most part—told in real time, literally step by step, as fear consumes the Morehead’s character, Lavinia Nebbs.
William Conrad narrates.
